These AMI Dulon E Type paint colour decals were located in the engine bay of all early model Toyota's built during the 1960's and early 1970's. These were applied to the Port Melbourne (Australia) assembled Crown, Corolla and Corona. Often many cars have lost this decal over their life as past owners may removed them for painting or the decal was simply torn or lost.
These decals were also fitted to Rambler (Classic, Ambassador, Matador, Rebel, Hornet, American etc), Triumph (Herald, Spitfire, 2000, 2000PI, 2500TC etc) and AMC (Javelin, AMX etc). They were also fitted to Mercedes Benz assembled in Australia.
This decal artwork (design) is completely correct for the 1965 and 1967 years. This is a two piece decal set and colours include the AMI colour range 1965 to 1967:
